About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Account Executive to join our sales team and focus on selling our payment gateway solutions to businesses across various industries. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of payment processing, online payment and e-commerce.

  • Identify and target potential clients in need of payment gateway solutions within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through lead generation, networking, and prospecting.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand prospects' business needs and pain points related to payment processing.
  • Present and demonstrate our payment gateway solutions to key decision-makers, addressing their unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create customized proposals and solutions based on client needs.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing, addressing objections, and managing the sales cycle to closure.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, prospects, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Build and nurture long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the payment processing space.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to showcase our payment gateway solutions and expand the company's network.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals on a consistent basis.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • >5 years of experience on B2B sales and business development
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, ideally within the payment gateway or fintech industry.
  • Strong knowledge of payment processing, e-commerce, and online payment methods.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand and address client needs, objections, and concerns effectively.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales tools.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and events as needed.
